On a dramatic hillside terrace high above the LA basin, the architecture at Balance Hill reaches out to claim the striking views. While the more private functions are anchored within the stone base, moving from west to east, the public spaces of this home become progressively lighter and glassier. A dramatic living and dining pavilion perched above the gardens celebrates the view, the climate and the landscape.
