Sunbrook Partners purchased the existing city block of buildings out of bankruptcy with the vision to convert the complex into a luxury residential community. They asked KAA Design to bring their team of experts to the table for a completely new vision including: new naming and branding; new architecture and landscape for the street and pedestrian level entries, retail storefronts, courtyards and access points; interior design for the building lobbies, concierge areas, common areas and 8 model units; new signage and wayfinding throughout, and complete marketing services including brochure, website, email campaign and PR coordination.
Context was key to KAA's new vision for Latitude 33 - the name itself taking its cue not only from its local address but also its place on the global front. The area is rich with art galleries, cafes, boutiques and nightlife, while nearby Abbot Kinney -the heart of the Venice creative community -has become a nucleus of celebrated chefs, designers and artists.
