Carmel Valley Estate
When we first visited our client's property, a gently rolling, eight-acre parcel in Carmel Valley, we were inspired by its pastoral beauty. Dotted with stately oaks, and nestled against a backdrop of verdant mountainside, the site and the locale reminded us of the hills of rural Tuscany.

John Street
Within the hill section of Manhattan Beach lies a Spanish Revival estate that imparts a rich Southern California architectural legacy with a contemporary lifestyle. Our approach was clear and simple, envision an estate that was honest to its context, represents the heart of an immediate family, and also becomes a home for extended family members and friends alike.
Longfellow Drive
The modern rustic sensibility encourages flow and provides multiple transitional spaces between indoor and outdoor. Materials were chosen to promote the the natural setting and timeless character and include colored board-formed concrete walls, board and batten painted wood siding, standing-seam zinc roofing, and indigenous trees and landscaping.
San Remo Drive
Memories are funny things - we don’t always know when we are making them. But years later, the smallest detail can bring a powerful moment flooding back. In this case, the young family that hired us had ideas about how they wanted life to unfold around their house.
Selfridge Drive
It was the client’s love of a casual, outdoor living and his desire to create a home that evoked memories of classic midwestern farmhouses and barn structures that inspired this rustic residence. The site, a rambling yet gently sloping two-acre parcel with 270-degree views of the Pacific Ocean at the north end of Malibu created the perfect backdrop to build.
Beverly Park Estate
Conceived as an extension of the Southern California Spanish Colonial Revival legacy this residence consists of a series of villa-like structures, courtyards, loggias and amenities for a young family. The architecture, gardens and site features are marked by the prodigious use of smooth plaster wall finishes, low-pitched clay tile shed roofs, and terracotta and cast concrete ornaments.
